Russian Oil Product Exports Rise 10.4% in May m/m

Russia’s seaborne oil product exports rose to 9.595 million metric tons in May, up 10.4% m/m following refineries coming back from maintenance and a fuel export ban being lifted according to Reuters sources.

  • Russia’s offline refining capacity was at 3.392 million metric tons in May, down by ~28% from April.
  • Fuel exports via Russia's Black Sea and Azov Sea ports in May increased by 20.9% to 4.002 million tons.
  • Fuel export out of Baltic ports were flat m/m at 4.732 million tons.
