Russian Refined Product Flows Rise in June

Russian refined product flows have risen in June as refinery maintenance eases, rising back above 2.5mn bpd based on Vortexa figures compiled by Bloomberg, climbing by 200,000 bpd in the last week.

  • Shipments of diesel and gasoil, which account for about 40% of Russia’s oil product flows, jumped to 1.15 million barrels a day in June – 36% higher than May.
  • Fuel oil shipments are poised to rise 17% m-o-m to about 795,000 bpd this month.
  • Flows of gasoline and blending components exports remained lackluster amid signs the Russian energy ministry has attempted to restrict exports to prevent domestic shortages.
