Russian refinery runs have edged higher in early April as damaged refineries benefit from repairs after recent Ukrainian drone attacks.

  • Russia processed an average of 5.25mn bpd in the first three days of April, 120,00 bpd higher than in the seven days to March 27 according to a Bloomberg source.
  • Even with the recovery, Russia’s throughput in recent weeks has been near the lowest since May 2023.
