Russian Seaborne Crude Exports Rose

Russian weekly seaborne crude exports rose by 144kbpd to 3.2mbpd in the week to 10 December, Bloomberg ship-tracking data showed, driven by a big jump in weekly flows after storms disrupted Black Sea shipments.

  • Seaborne crude flows in the four weeks to 10 December rose to 3.2mbpd, up from 3.08mbpd in the four weeks before.
  • Four-week shipments to Asian customers, including those showing no final destination, rose to 2.7mbpd, up from 2.63mbpd in the previous period.
  • Around 1.1mbpd of crude was loaded to China in the four weeks to 10 December, while shipments to India averaged 780kbpd.
