Russian Seaborne Diesel Exports Rose MoM in July

Russian seaborne diesel and gasoil exports rose by 11% to around 1.9mn tonnes in the first 17 days of July, compared with the same period in June, as production grew after seasonal refinery maintenance, Refinitiv Eikon data showed.

  • So far in July, diesel exports from Russian ports to Turkey stood at 631,000 tonnes. Shipments to Brazil stood at 300,000 tonnes.
  • Senegal and Morocco are the leading Russian diesel importers to Africa this month with 75,000 tonnes and 66,000 tonnes, respectively.
  • Russia’s offline primary oil refining capacity is expected to fall significantly this month to 2.326mn tonnes, from 3.966mn tonnes in June. Russian offline oil refining capacity is seen at 3.601mn tonnes in August.
