Russia’s Chayanda Field to Reach Nameplate Capacity by End 2024

Gazprom expects that its Chayanda field in eastern Siberia will reach nameplate capacity of 25bcm/yr year the end of next year, Gazprom said via Telegram.

  • The field is supplying natural gas to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline.
  • Natural gas supplies to China via the pipeline are estimated to gradually increase to 30bcm/yr in 2024 and to 38bcm/yr by 2025, with gas from the Chayanda and Kovykta fields.
