Russia’s Crude Oil Exports Revised Up: Reuters

Russia’s crude oil exports from its western ports in February have been revised up from amid an outage at the Tuapse refinery, according to Reuters.

  • February loading plans for the ports of Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Novorossiysk rose an additional 0.7m mt to 8.2 million tons, or 2.1m b/d, following the Tuapse refinery’s shutdown.
  • A fire broke out at Tuapse refinery Jan. 25. The plant, which processes light grade, Siberian Light, has an annual capacity of 240k b/d. It will not resume operations this month, sources told Reuters.
