Russia’s Gasoline Prices Up 0.09% on Week

Russia’s retail gasoline prices were up 0.09% in the week to April 22, averaging 54 roubles/l, according to Rosstat.

  • Gasoline prices rose by 7.23% in 2023, just below headline inflation of 7.42% for the year.
  • Russia’s gasoline production was down 1.3% on the year to 11m mt in Q1. Production in March was down 3.5% to 3.5m mt.
  • Diesel prices were up 0.07% on the week to average 65.13 roubles/l.
  • Diesel production in Russia in Q1 was down 2.2% on the year to 21.9m mt in Q1. However, production in March was up 5.4% on the month to 7.3m mt.
