Russia’s Ryazan Refinery Restarted One CDU

Russia’s 350kbpd Ryazan oil refinery resumed operations at the primary oil refining unit, CDU-4, this week, raising its total crude intake to 169kbpd, or 60% of normal, after shutting 13 March, sources told Reuters.

  • The CDU-6 unit is expected to be restarted by the end of March at 170kbpd of capacity, with full production to be restored shortly after, the sources said.
  • After the fire following Ukrainian attacks, the plant reduced runs by 64% compared to the beginning of the month to 95kbpd.
