EGBS: Ryan McGrath at Cantors in Dublin noted that the PSPP data from yesterday
showed that the ECB dramatically increased the amount of Irish debt purchased in
November to E1.17bln from E537mln. This was necessitated by the large Irish
redemption. McGrath adds "This puts Irish PSPP back on track and can expect a
return to normal levels in December".
- He believes that it is "Interesting to note Ireland's under-performance versus
France in November given the huge spike in ECB purchase volumes. Easier to
understand the positive performance versus Germany."
