witnessed yesterday, where upbeat ZEW data helped to underpin the single
currency.
*Euro consolidated within a narrow $1.1987 to $1.2001 range in early trade
*Softer US rate yields caused the greenback to weaken across the board and
together with Euro-yen demand the euro rose back through $1.2000 to $1.2020
*Euro then consolidated with a $1.2006 to $1.2018 range for the balance of the
session
*Resistance lies at $1.2032 (76.4% $1.2092-$1.1838 decline), while Asia's base
of $1.1987 provides initial support
*German PPI (0600GMT) provides the initial event risk for the session ahead, the
main event is FOMC at 1800GMT
