*Euro opened in Asia at $1.1786 toward the upper side of the $1.1721 to $1.1804

weakness was the main theme as profit-taking took hold.

*It was a non-event during the Asia session, the Euro held mostly around

$1.1785, but somehow eked out a tight $1.1777-$1.1791 range

*Initial support seen at $1.1767 (NY low), while resistance is found at $1.1804

(Sep28 high).

*European inflation data is the highlight for the session ahead, headline CPI

for September is expected to rise at an annual of 1.6%, up from 1.5% prior.
