Serbia, Hungary To Build Oil Pipeline

Serbian pipeline operator Transnafta and Hungary’s Mol are planning to sign an agreement to build an oil pipeline connecting Szazhalombatta in central Hungary and Novi Sad in Serbia, the Serbian Energy Ministry said.

  • The planned oil pipeline will have a capacity of 5.5mn t/yr, with a possibility to extend to Greece or Albania at a later stage.
  • There has been given no timeline or the project.
