GOLD: Some (limited) price action crept in on the back of Xinhua reports
surrounding the latest Sino-U.S. trade phone call, but with little clarity on
trade matters the move proved somewhat shallow and fleeting, with the yellow
metal last trading at ~$1,455/oz, little changed on the day. Bears now look to
$1445.7/oz, the Nov 12 low and bear trigger after a close below the Nov 18 low
on Monday.
- Also worth noting that Fed Chair Powell offered little to stir debate in his
latest address.
