junctures. The Nikkei 225 closed below trend line support from its 2016 lows the
on Tuesday, while the MSCI AC Asia-Pacific index closed just above bear market
territory.
- Worry re: regional earnings results in the upcoming Asia-Pacific earnings
season seems to be applying an additional layer of pressure, on top of the
broader global risk themes.
- The Nikkei 225 and ASX 200 have hovered either side of neutral in the first
half of the Asia-Pacific session, while the CSI 300 & Hang Seng have rallied
ahead of the lunch break.
- U.S. index futures trade a touch lower on the day last.
