AUSSIE BONDS: Space largely tracked the impetus of Tsys on SYCOM, although YM/XM
failed to flatten beyond the recent extremes, leaving YM +0.5 and XM -1.0 as we
type, withone eye on today's AOFM syndication.
- As a reminder, on Tuesday the AOFM announced "an issue by syndication of the
2.75% 21 May 2041 Treasury Bond. The issue will be of a modest size. Initial
price guidance for the issue is a spread of 49 to 51 basis points over the
implied bid yield for the primary ten-year Treasury Bond futures contract."
Pricing is expected today.
- Early issuance has seen QTC launch its new Nov 2024 A$ FRN.
- Wage data and skilled job vacancies headline today's local docket, ahead of
tomorrow's monthly labour market report.
