Spanish LNG Terminals at Overcapacity

Spain’s Enagas said this week it may have to reject LNG cargoes from discharging due to overcapacity at its terminals.

  • Enagas said high occupation levels by tanks at the country’s regasification plants was expected to remain at least until the first week of November.
  • Spanish LNG imports have surged as a way of bringing alternative gas supplies into Europe.
