Stable Demand and Production Keep US Unchanged On The Day

NATGAS

US Natgas holding steady today with near normal demand and healthy production levels.

    • US Natgas NOV 22 up 0.2% at 5.21$/mmbtu
  • US production has set new record highs in recent months partly due to significant increases in Permian Basin output. The higher production is putting pressure on the pipeline network in the area with the Waha price trading down to 0.7$/mmbtu this week according to Bloomberg. Total US production was relatively unchanged yesterday at 101.65bcf/d.
  • The weather forecast suggests warm weather in the east continuing into November but with near normal temperatures for much of the US. Lower 48 dry gas demand is estimated just below normal today at 66bcf/d.
  • Deliveries to LNG export terminals are higher today at 11.73bcf/d due to an increase in flows to Sabine Pass and exports to Mexico are estimated at 6.25bcf/d.
