  • Standard Chartered sees Banxico raising its key rate by 75bps to 7.75% at its June meeting.
  • From Bloomberg report:
    • They then expect 50bps hikes in both August and September, taking the year-end policy rate to 8.75%.
    • “Despite the worsening inflation outlook, we do not expect the majority of board members to endorse another 75bps hike in August; there seems to be disagreement among the hawks over the terminal rate”.
