Steeper, But Off SYCOM Lows

AUSSIE BONDS

Much like U.S. Tsy futures, Aussie bond futures pushed steeper during Friday's SYCOM session, taking their lead from the former, but XM now sits a little above Friday's low in the wake of the risk-negative start to Asia-Pac trade, though most of the steepening has held. YM -0.5, XM -6.0.

  • The weekend also saw the state of Victoria's stage 4 restrictions extended for 2 weeks beyond the original end date of Sep 13, as state Premier Andrews outlined the roadmap for moving out of lockdown. • Bills run unchanged to -2 through the reds.
  • A$2.0bn worth of ACGB 2.75% 21 November 2029 supply and ANZ job ads headline the local docket today.
