Comments from NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's press conference ahead of the 14-15 Feb defence ministers' meeting hitting wires. Stoltenberg states that 'NATO countries will step up and sustain support for Ukraine'. Warns that 'the war in Ukraine is depleting ammunition stockpiles in NATO countries...this puts the defence industry under strain...we need to ramp up production and invest in production capacity....We plan to increase targets for ammunition stockpiles.'

At 1700CET the wider North Atlantic Council meeting gets underway. Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov dure to be in attendance in spite of seemingly-unfounded rumours that he was set to be removed from office over a corruption scandal.
