Strikes Continue at TotalEnergies Feyzin Refinery

Strike action is still underway at TotalEnergies 117,000 bpd Feyzin refinery in France according to Reuters sources.

  • Feyzin and Gonfreville were the last remaining French refineries on strike this week after the rest agreed new pay deals and returned to work. The walkout at Gonfrevilles 240,000 bpd refinery have now ended according to reports. It has yet to restart according to sources. At its peak, strikes put five TotalEnergies sites of action.
  • Strikes at French refineries began September 27 and have led to fuel shortages hitting around 30% of domestic fuel stations. Including strikes at Exxon refineries, 60% of French capacity was out of action.
  • A strike at TotalEnergies’ 230,000 bpd Donges’ refinery in western France ended last month.
