Sudzha Entry Point Set at 42.4 mcm/day: Gazprom

Russian gas transit via the Sudzha entry point is set at 42.4 mcm/day on Wednesday according to Gazprom - holding at regular levels.

  • Flows had dipped as low as 37.3 mcm/day last week, sparking fears of reduced flows or a total shutdown after the incursion into the region by Ukraine. The dip in flows was instead from lower requests from European customers.
  • Uncertainty on the ground means these fears remain, keeping TTF elevated.
  • Neither side intends to halt the flows according to Bloomberg sources on Tuesday with Ukraine receiving transit fees and Russia able to sell gas to Europe.
