Aussie bond futures have edged higher in early Sydney trade, with YM and XM both printing ~1.0 tick richer on the day. The cash curve has seen some modest bull steepening.

  • A$ corporate issuance continues to tick over.
  • Bills run -1 to + 2 through the reds.
  • A$2.0bn worth of ACGB 1.50% 21 June 2031 supply is due today, as is the release of the Westpac leading index.
  • Participants will also be on the lookout for potential RBA ACGB bond purchases, with the window open today.
