Sweden’s 1.17GW Nuclear Unit Extends Unplanned Outage

Swedish firm Vattenfall has extended the unplanned outage at its 1.17GW Forsmark unit 3 to 16 June owing to a valve problem, according to latest Remit notice.

  • The unit is now expected to return at 18:00 CET on that day from the originally scheduled date of the morning of 14 June.
  • The Nordic July is trading higher on the day - up 6.25% at €29.75/MWh.
