US TSYS: T-Notes having a look towards yesterday's highs at typing, last +0-02+
at 139-07+, with e-minis threatening to breach yesterday's worst levels.
- Weak domestic data and heavy equity markets drove the bid for Tsys in NY hours
on Wednesday, after the space followed Bunds higher during the European morning,
with corporate earnings (granted banks are being weighed down on by provisional
requirements) adding a further layer of support, as the curve bull flattened.
- Elsewhere, WTI traded sub-$20, while Fedspeak (including the Beige book) was
sombre.
- Eurodollar futures unchanged to +0.5 through the reds after yesterday's
aggressive bull flattening of the strip.
