US TSYS: T-Notes remain contained in early trading, with some modest twist
flattening creeping into cash trade, as 30-Year paper outperforms early on.
- Fed voter, and dove, Bullard noted that Fed policy normalisation has probably
gone as far as possible, but stressed that it is premature to contemplate a rate
cut. Bullard reiterated that the U.S. economy "remains in good shape." On yield
curve inversion, Bullard noted that he "would need a wider variety of Treasury
spreads to invert and stay there for several months before concluding that it is
sending a clear recession signal."
- Eurodollar futures last trade 0.5 to 2.0 ticks lower through the reds.
- T-Notes last 124.13, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields closed at 2.396%.
