US TSYS: T-Notes ticked higher overnight, sitting at best levels at writing,
seemingly drawing support from increased Western media coverage pointing to a
potential rebuild of a previously de-commissioned North Korean nuclear test
site, as well as some spill over from the Australian bond space.
- There was also talk surrounding Qatar's 5-/10- & 30-Year USD issuance, with
IPT at Tsys +110bp, +160bp and +200bp respectively. Talk suggests that the total
deal size could be $10bn.
- T-Notes operate just off best levels at writing, with the long end
underperforming in cash trade.
- The options space saw a large block lodged at 01:36:00 GMT, 20:36:00 NY TYK9
120.50 puts 10.0K blocked at 0-11, source suggested it was a buyer. There was
also a steady buyer of TYJ9 120.75 puts into European hours.
- Eurodollar futures trade unchanged to 2.5 ticks higher through the reds.
- U.S. ADP and the release of the Beige book headline on Wednesday, with Fed's
Williams and Mester set to speak.
- T-Notes last 122.01, U.S 10-Year cash Tsy yields last 2.701%.
