T-Notes tight in early electronic trade,....>

US TSYS
US TSYS: T-Notes tight in early electronic trade, +0-01 at 139-17+.
- This comes after the contract ground higher in NY hours, despite the broader
uptick in risk sentiment, as participants looked more to local fiscal matters,
with a seeming wide gulf still apparent between the GOP and Dems. A reminder
that there were some cautious words from U.S. Senate Majority leader McConnell
re: the prospects of a fresh U.S. fiscal support package being agreed by the end
of next week.
- Cash 10s struggled to make a real, concerted break through 0.60% in yield
terms, although there was a couple of brief, limited shows below in late NY
trade. The curve was little changed on the day.
- Volumes were subdued.
- Contacts pointed to real money accounts selling the belly of the curve.
- Eurodollar futures unchanged to +0.5 through the reds.
- Focus turns to Wednesday's 20-Year supply, with little of note on the docket
in Asia-Pac hours.
