Taiwan saw heavy outflows on Thursday as tech stocks sold off following the hawkish Fed. 

  • South Korea: Recorded outflows of -$307m yesterday, with a 5-day total of -$1.1b. YTD flows remain positive at +$2.84b. The 5-day average is -$220m, worse than the 20-day average of -$122m and the 100-day average of -$161m.
  • Taiwan: Saw significant outflows of -$1.16b yesterday, contributing to a 5-day total of -$663m. YTD flows remain deeply negative at -$17.78b. The 5-day average is -$133m, worse than the 20-day average of -$73m and the 100-day average of -$149m.
  • India: Posted outflows of -$109m yesterday, with a 5-day total of -$441m. YTD flows remain positive at +$708m. The 5-day average is -$88m, worse than the 20-day average of +$170m but better than the 100-day average of -$44m.
  • Indonesia: Recorded outflows of -$58m yesterday, with a 5-day total of -$314m. YTD flows remain positive at +$1.14b. The 5-day average is -$63m, worse than the 20-day average of -$33m but better than the 100-day average of +$13m.
  • Thailand: Registered inflows of +$3m yesterday, though the 5-day total is -$76m. YTD flows are negative at -$4.10b. The 5-day average is -$15m, better than the 20-day average of -$20m but worse than the 100-day average of -$8m.
  • Malaysia: Experienced outflows of -$30m yesterday, with a 5-day total of -$196m. YTD flows are negative at -$861m. The 5-day average is -$39m, better than the 20-day average of -$53m but worse than the 100-day average of -$9m.
  • Philippines: Posted outflows of -$17m yesterday, with a 5-day total of -$67m. YTD flows remain negative at -$399m. The 5-day average is -$13m, worse than the 20-day average of -$8m and the 100-day average of +$1m.
