Tengiz Production Back to Normal After Maintenance

Tengizchevroil (TCO) restored oil output on its Tengiz oil field in Kazakhstan to normal levels after a fall during unscheduled maintenance early in March according to official reports.

  • Its restart was already reported on at the start of the week but not officially confirmed.
  • All oil production trains at the site are now online.
  • Oil output on Tengiz was up to 645,000 bpd on March 10, from 563,000 bpd from March 1-6 according to Reuters sources.
