BOND SUMMARY: The Asia session has been pretty slow so far, with core FI
respecting relatively narrow ranges. Market holidays in China & Taiwan have
helped limit activity. T-Notes have held a tight range and last trade -0-01+ at
138-27+. Yields sit slightly lower in cash trade. Eurodollars last seen unch. to
-0.5 tick through the reds.
- JGB futures have slipped and last sit at 152.08, just 2 ticks shy of
settlement. Cash yields sit marginally above neutral levels. Nothing to shock in
the latest comments from BoJ off'ls, purchase sizes at today's 1-5 Rinban ops
left unch., while Tokyo CPI matched exp.
- In Australia, YM & XM are unch., while yield curve sits marginally higher in
cash trade. Bills last seen unch. to -1 tick through the reds. The AOFM
auctioned ACGB 4.25% 21 April 2026.
