KOREAN WON: The BoK left its policy rate unchanged at 1.25% despite the ongoing
coronavirus epidemic. Most analysts expected the central bank to trim borrowing
costs, in line with decisions taken recently by policymakers in Indonesia or
Thailand to combat the economic challenge from the virus. USD/KRW dropped to
KRW1,210.00 but then faded the reaction move. 
- The BoK said that it will boost support for small companies via its special
loan facility.
- USD/KRW last seen -2.65 fig. at KRW1,214.30. Familiar technical levels remain
in focus.
