CHINA: The common interests between China and the U.S. far surpass their
differences and conflicts, Premier Li Keqiang said while meeting with U.S.
Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in Beijing on Monday, according to a CCTV report.
The years of trade connections between the two countries are the "ballast for
the bilateral relationship," Li noted, adding that he hoped Ross's visit would
deepen trade links. Li told Ross he hoped that Chinese companies could be
treated fairly while investing in the United States. China is also willing to
deal with any conflicts via talks with the U.S, Li said. (CCTV)
