DOLLAR-YEN: The dollar opened in Asia at Y109.20 toward the lower side of
yesterday's Y109.16 to Y110.18 range, where risk-aversion amid US/N. Korea
tensions underpinned the yen. Tokyo markets are closed today for a bank holiday
(Mountain Day), trading is expected to be subdued. Demand is cited around
Y109.00, with support then seen at Y108.83 (Jun14 low), while resistance is
located around Y109.50, former channel support and now resistance. Dollar-yen
was last at Y109.18
