KIWI: The flightless bird looks set to open in Asia toward the upper side of the
$0.6820 to $0.6887 range witnessed so far today, where weaker than expected
durable goods data and dovish FOMC minutes kept the greenback on the defensive.
NZ Q3 retail trade (2145GMT) provides the event risk for the session ahead,
consensus is for a modest 0.1% q/q increase. Daily trend line resistance
($0.6888) drawn off $0.7433 high has basically been met full on, a clean break
to expose $0.6919 (Nov15 high), while hourly support is found just above
$0.6850. Kiwi was last at $0.6877.
