SONIA: The front end of the Sonia curve is modestly steeper in early Monday
morning trade compared to Friday's close as markets switch to a slight risk-on
tone on hope that US & China can work out a solution to their trade dispute.
Looking ahead there is only UK mortgage lending data released at 0930GMT today,
however, BoE Haldane speaks at a town hall event in Scotland, while talks on
Irish boarder issue are due to start today. PM May also expected to give
statement on EU summit. MNI PINCH calculate a 82% chance of a hike in May-18.
