EGB SUMMARY: - The German 10-year yield is trading lower this morning at 0.449%,
1bp lower from Friday's close. Despite a large increase in German industrial
production. 
- The German Industrial Output increased 2.6% from the previous month in August,
its biggest monthly increase in more than six years in a positive sign for the
German economy.  
- Catalan regional government is considering whether to declare independence
this week. On Sunday we saw 350,000 people attend a rally in Barcelona calling
for unity. The Bund-Bonos spread currently trading at 119.2bp, which is 5bp
tighter.
- Moody's affirms Italy's Baa2 rating and maintains a negative outlook. DBRS
confirms Spain A (low).
- The economic calendar for today remains light with the ECB's Mersch speaking
in Milan and ECB's Lautenschlaeger speaking in Stuttgart while US bond markets
will be closed for the Columbus Day holiday.
