DOLLAR-YEN: The greenback opened at Y111.75 at the lower side of Friday's
Y111.69 to Y112.31 range, where weaker US inflation data and softer UST yields
placed the dollar on the defensive. Japan's Industrial Production and Capacity
Utilization head the data releases for the session, both due at 0430GMT. Early
focus will be on Japan's equity open, Nikkei futures were last +0.28%. Support
is located at Y111.48 (Sept 26-25 lows), a break to expose Y111.10 (38.2% fib
Y107.32 to Y113.44), while hourly resistance is found at Y111.98. Dollar-yen was
last at Y111.88.
