STERLING: The latest CFTC CoT data revealed that net GBP shorts as a % of open
interest fell for a third straight week, retracing from the recent extreme of
~37.35% to sit at ~29.66%. Further shorts may have been flushed out in the time
since the data was collected (end of business Tuesday), helping to fuel the GBP
rally into the weekend.
