STOCKS: The latest round of hawkish trade comments from U.S. President Trump

which saw the utility and energy sectors do the heavy lifting.
- Nikkei 225 -1.2%, Hang Seng -1.8%, CSI 300 -1.8%, ASX 200 +0.3%.
- U.S. equity index futures also struggled on the back of Trump's comments.
- S&P 500 futures -16, DJIA futures -148, NASDAQ 100 futures -52.
