STOCKS: The major Asia-Pacific equity indices edged higher on Tuesday, although
the moves were somewhat limited with uncertainty surrounding the fresh round of
U.S.-China trade talks evident.
- Japanese indices pulled back in early afternoon trade after the BoJ left its
forward guidance unchanged (as well as its broader monetary policy settings),
disappointing some participants.
- The ASX 200 could register a fresh all time closing high.
- Nikkei 225 +0.5%, Hang Seng +0.4%, CSI 300 +0.7%, ASX 200 +0.4%.
- S&P 500 futures +5, DJIA futures +39, NASDAQ 100 futures +15.
