STOCKS: The major Asia-Pacific equity indices were hampered by Friday's weakness
in EU/U.S. stocks, with growing worry surrounding the global economy/trade and
U.S. yield curve inversion.
- Nikkei 225 -3.1%, Hang Seng -1.8%, CSI 300 -1.7%, ASX 200 -1.2%.
- U.S. equity index futures also moved lower, after a brief uptick at the
re-open, on the back of the findings of Special Counsel Mueller's report, which
ultimately found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia
during the 2016 election.
- S&P -13, DJIA -104, NASDAQ 100 -41.
