STOCKS: The major Asia-Pacific stock indices followed Wall St.'s positive lead,
with trade war rhetoric likely to dominate sentiment in the short term, after
markets shook off the uncertainty of a hung Congress in U.S. after the Midterms.
- The Nikkei added 1.9%, with the Hang Seng & CSI 300 adding 0.9% & 0.7%
respectively, elsewhere the ASX 200 added 0.5% as the heavyweight materials
sector lagged, limiting the broader index.
- U.S. index futures traded marginally lower.
