FED: The Senate Banking Committee meets at 1400ET to vote on the nominations of
Judy Shelton and Christopher Waller to the Fed Board of Governors.
- Waller has always looked like a shoo-in for approval. As for the more

along party lines.
- This process has gone on for more than five months so far but now looks to be
coming to an end. After being approved by the Committee, Shelton and Waller will
be subject to a vote in the full Senate - which is unlikely to present a major
obstacle to their appointments.
