EURO-DOLLAR: The single currency opened in Asia at $1.1772 toward the upper side
of the $1.1704 to $1.1785 range witnessed yesterday, where dovish rhetoric from
Fed's Dudley placed the greenback on the defensive. There is no data or
scheduled events in Asia likely to impact trading, local traders expect sideways
consolidation with no particular bias heading into the European open. They also
note a number of large option expiries for today between $1.1750-65(E2.48bn)
that may act to contain the near-term range. Resistance is located at $1.1800
(50% $1.1910-$1.1689), while support is found at $1.1748 (38.2%
$1.1689-$1.1785). Euro was last at $1.1767
