EURO-DOLLAR: The single currency opened in Asia at $1.1884 at the low side of
yesterday's $1.1881 to $1.1984 range, where broad-based US dollar strength,
supported further by upbeat US economic data, was the main theme. There is no
significant economic data or scheduled events to influence direction in Asia,
local traders expect sideways consolidation with a mild downside bias. Key
support is located at $1.1866 (50% $1.1662-$1.2070), a break opens $1.1818
(61.8% on the same move), while hourly resistance lies around $1.1930. Euro was
last at $1.1894.
