GOLD: The slight downtick in Tsy yields and the USD evident in Asia-Pac trade,
the opposite of what was seen in NY hours on Wednesday, has allowed gold bulls
to regain some poise after the yellow metal shed over $25/oz in yesterday's
session.
- Spot bullion last deals at $1,509/oz, ~$5/oz higher on the day.
- Uptrend support drawn from the May 30 low & the Sep 23 low itself gave way
Wednesday, but psychological support at $1,500/oz held. Bulls will continue to
look to the Sep 24 high at $1,535.8/oz, while bears will likely need a break
below $1,500/oz to open the way lower.
