US TSY/RECAP
US TSY/RECAP: The space ended last week significantly stronger amid heavy flows
from EM into safe havens due to the collapse in the Turkey lira.
- Headline risk surrounding Turkey looks set to continue dominating price
action, but the break above triangle resistance at 120-070 in the 10-year future
points to further gains ahead medium term.
- Last week saw the 2s-10s curve fall back down to 26.5bps, even as the 5s-30s
curve steepened slightly to two-month highs of 28.4bps.
- US 10-year breakevens ended the week lower at 2.100% after Friday's drop, but
this did not stop real yields falling to three-week lows at 0.771%.
- T-Notes last at 120.130, US 10-Year yields last at 2.873%.
