AUSSIE BONDS: The space has benefitted from a soft start for risk assets as the
populist parties in Italy have put in a solid showing in the exit polls
following the election. 3-Year futures now trade unchanged at 97.930, with
10-Year futures 2.5 ticks lower at 97.255.
- The move higher coincided with a pullback in the EUR & uptick in JPY as
markets await the official results from the Italian election.
- The domestic 3-/10-Year yield differential last sits at 70.2bp (+2.5bp), while
the AU/US 10-Year yield differential sits at -10.9bp (-2.4bp).
- The week is full of Australian risk events, with the RBA decision, a speech
from RBA Governor Lowe & Q4 GDP headlining.
